For the past few weeks we've been surrounded by thick fog, but on Sunday we managed to escape the white blanket when we took a drive to the Black Forest in Germany.
What an amazing sight to see a beautiful blue sky and a magical sea of fog.
As we drove away, we were right back to square one and yet again we were faced with another dosage of white wet stuff.
Since living in Europe (40 odd years now) I have always wanted to experience every weather situation of the country, and naturally I had to get outta the car and have a closer pic of yours truly posing in the fog- - on the photo it doesn't look very much, but it was thick and rather cold.
As Christmas is practically around the corner, and still no snow in sight, I guess this could be a foggy foggy Christmas.
